Program Experience

What to Expect

A typical military fitness training session with MilConnect

Military fitness training session

Dynamic Warm-Up

Begin with a comprehensive warm-up designed to prepare your body for the training session, including dynamic stretching, mobility exercises, and progressive activation drills.

Skill Development

Learn and practice specific movement patterns and exercise techniques under the guidance of your NCM instructor, with a focus on proper form and execution.

Main Training Block

Engage in the primary workout component, which may include strength training, conditioning circuits, interval work, or specialized drills depending on the program focus.

Team Challenges

Participate in group exercises or friendly competitions that build camaraderie while developing teamwork and mental resilience under physical stress.

Recovery & Debrief

Complete appropriate cool-down activities, followed by a session debrief where instructors provide feedback and guidance for continued improvement.

Preparing for Training

What you need to know before joining our military fitness programs

Physical Readiness

  • Basic level of fitness appropriate to your chosen program
  • Ability to perform fundamental movements like squats, push-ups, and running
  • Medical clearance for high-intensity exercise (recommended)

Equipment & Attire

  • Appropriate athletic clothing and footwear for outdoor training
  • Water bottle and personal hydration supplies
  • Additional equipment as specified in pre-training materials

  • Willingness to be challenged physically and mentally
